TrueVIS XG-640 Large-Format Eco-Solvent Printer/Cutter

The next-generation XG-640 is Roland DG’s fastest printer/cutter ever—built for shops that need to keep jobs moving and revenue growing. Whether you’re producing vehicle wraps, decals, signs or display graphics, the XG delivers a whole new level of productivity and versatility that turns printing into profits.

• Roland DG’s most productive integrated printer/cutter to date – nearly twice as fast as the VG3-640.
• Advanced dual staggered printheads allow for top print speeds of up to 819 sqft/hr.
• Exceptional vibrancy with new TR3 eco-solvent inks, available in dual CMYK or expanded gamut 8-color configurations including Orange, Green, and White options.
• Enhanced usability with a 7-inch touch panel, automatic media gap adjustment, and other cutting-edge features designed to simplify operations.

Industry-Leading Productivity

Engineered for speed and precision, the XG-640 sets a new benchmark in productivity, enabling shops to complete more jobs each day without additional labor. Dual staggered printheads and high-speed data control deliver 15% faster print speeds than competing models — without compromissing image quality.
In Standard mode, the 8-color (CMYKLcLmOrGr) configuration delivers the widest color gamut at speeds of up to 327.2 sqft/hr on vinyl. Let it run uninterrupted all night and wake up to high-quality, customer-ready prints in the morning. Higher throughput, shorter production times, and a return on investment measured in months, not years.

Expect Big Things

Roland DG pioneered the world’s first Print & Cut technology, and for over 40 years our advanced Print & Cut solutions have been trusted by users worldwide. The XG-640 continues this legacy, combining cutting-edge innovation and productivity with the reliability professionals expect.

Introducing Our Most Vibrant and Eco-Friendly TrueVIS Inks

A next-generation printer like the XG-640 demands equally impressive inks. New TR3 eco-solvent inks are specially formulated for unrivaled vibrancy and durability. TR3 White ink used with the XG-640 allows for three times greater productivity than TR2 inks used with a VG3 printer/cutter and produces graphic results that are 1.3 times more dense, enhancing window graphics and base coats. Plus, TR3 inks are GBL-free and GREENGUARD Gold certified, for safer, eco-conscious printing. These premium-quality inks are available in a choice of configurations to suit your specific needs – dual CMYK for increased speed, or 8-color (Orange, Green, Light Cyan, Light Magenta, and White) for an expanded gamut and greater color accuracy.

Colour lcd screen for quick and easy job access

The XG-640’s built-in 7-inch color LCD touchscreen control panel provides quick, intuitive access to important printer functions and information. With the touch of a button, you can get an update on remaining ink levels, printer status, print time, and more.
Automatic media take-up system

Loading media is a breeze, thanks to the XG-640’s automatic media take-up system. Simply move the end of the media to the position of the paper tube on the take-up unit using the control panel and secure it to the paper tube with tape.

Add perforations for quick and easy separations

The XG-640’s new perforated sheet cut function makes it easy to add perforations for high-volume print jobs. This exclusive Roland DG feature eliminates cutting tools and reduces post-processing work, saving space and minimizing the risk of output damage.
